Sunday, and I'm Outa Here

Plenty of events going on today, but I'm going to hit the road. I'm glad I rode up, and it was fun to see friends, but this event just isn't what I expected. I don't know what, exactly, they could do different, but I probably won't get back here unless someone does some serious arm-twisting.

So maybe, if I push it, I can get back to Alexandria in time to catch the end of the Brickyard 400. I'm reasonably sure Tony Stewart will be winning!!

Now to load up the bike. Who buys all these fucking t-shirts?!?!

!! MISSING SC PHOTOS !!

A few (as of 9/23/2012) of the approximately 139 Southern Comfort posts are still missing pictures due to a change in Blogger that I didn't anticipate. I keep working on them, and I'm getting there, but there were a total of about 60 that lost the pix, and this really turned out to be time consuming. Each frickin' picture had to be found on my hard drive and republished into the post. Alas, some posts were just deleted; I had no idea where the pix were.

I've re-published many of the recent posts, and lately, I started back at the beginning, working forward. One of these days, I'll meet in the middle and be done with it. So yes, there are pictures missing, and no, it's not anything to do with your web browser.

Content / Article Searches

Southern Comfort has outgrown any imaginable proportions, now including posts and articles of all kinds, now dating back a couple years. If you're looking for anything in particular not viewable on the home page, use the search widget in the upper left-hand corner of the Blog in the menu bar. Enter a keyword or phrase and see what comes up.

For example, type in "Pitbull Lift", run the search, and you'll find all posts that mention Pitbull Lift. Then you can use the CTRL F function to run a page search to find where the search keywords appear.

High-Resolution Copies of Photos

I was recently asked if I had high-resolution copies of photos in this blog or from the Snapfish links in the right hand frame of this webpage. Except for a few that I shamelessly stole from others' Facebook pages, I have many of the newer (say mid-2010 forward) pix in hi-res format. The file size is typically 2-3MB, and some are even larger, up to 10mb. Files of that size are great for enlargements, wallpaper, or whatever, and even zoomed, the detail is good.

If you want one, or a bunch, I'll try to help out. Send me an email and a thumbnail of the photo you want. Keep in mind I can only send a few of those large files in a single email, and sending several emails with large attachments might fill up your email box.
