OK, as selfish as this is going to sound, I was very relieved to hear that the storm threatening the Gulf was headed for Mexico instead. And it's selfish because I was concerned I was going to hit the storm as I rode south.
Sure I'm worried about all the oil, the dolphins, the pelicans, the folks on the coast, and whatever, but I couldn't help thinking about the trip too.
There, I've said it.
